Mr. Rahul, Dept. of Posts - I am working as Postal Assistant in Department of Posts. I want to appear departmental examination of Inspector of Post which is to be held in Sept-2012. The eligibility criteria is 5 years regular service in PA cadre as on 30.06.12. My date of entry in department is 12.07.2007. i.e. training period 12.07.2007 to 29.10.2007. My query is whether training period counts towards regular service? whether i am eligible for Inspector of Post exam which to be held in Swewpt-2012?
